The Problem
The brief of this project was to create a network ID for a streaming service. Since a lot of TV networks are now showing on sites such as Hulu or Netflix, the challenge of this project was to treat streaming services as if they were also a network. The time restraint was limited to under 30 seconds and had to directly cater to that site's target demographic.
The Solution
My solution to this ask was to create a network ID for Netflix, since I was most familiar with that streaming site. I decided to show some of Netflix's top shows, especially Netflix exclusives.
I formatted this ID to mimic a box tv screen, with each new tv show coming on as if it were an old slideshow. The concept was to remind viewers that Netflix isn't so different from a TV network, and, on top of that, it is more.
This project was created in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
