This project was for my history of animation class at SCAD. The ask was to create a network ID for a streaming site, as opposed to tv networks. I chose Netflix, as it was the streaming site most familiar to me. I decided to use fast paced cuts to create a sense of intensity and excitement. I also used compositing methods to imitate a TV screen, as if to say "this is the new tv!". I also utilize the word 'more' to emphasize the main appeal to Netflix- you get more for your money, and without all the ads.
I created this project in Adobe After Effects. I utilized adjustment layers and effects to bulge the screen and distort elements. I used high energy music paired with quick transitions perfectly paired to the beat. This sequence ends off with a satisfying click of the TV turning off before Netflix's original logo comes on screen.
